Meet the Team

Laura Curtis: Managing Director

Laura is co-founder and Managing Director of Allurentis. She started her career in Financial PR in the City of London, working with clients ranging from SMEs to FTSE100 companies, covering all sectors. It was here that Laura gained her deep understanding and knowledge of the media. During this time, Laura also developed her strong client ethos and the principles on which she continues to successfully do business; relationship building, understanding client needs and delivering the highest quality of service. 

In 1998, Laura joined Newsweek Magazine, and worked in the business development team of this world-renowned and award-winning title. She travelled extensively with Newsweek, particularly to the Middle East, where she built relationships with a number of high level contacts within government and major multinational companies. She also gained an essential understanding of cross-cultural business ethics. 

In 2003, Laura became Business Development Director of a publishing company specialising in producing trade and investment guides. For over five years, Laura worked with UK government departments, international government ministries, UK based embassies, chambers of commerce and international trade organisations to produce over 50 country guides. Laura has served as Chairman of the Middle East Association’s Under 40s Group and on the main board of the Middle East Association in London.


Laura Kiely: Art Director

Laura is a Director and co-founder of Allurentis. She has nearly 30 years’ experience in working across all sectors of the graphic design industry, and has an extensive understanding and knowledge of the technical and creative sides of the process. After 17 years of facing the challenges and deadlines of print and reprographics, and with the advantage of having wide pre-press knowledge, Laura decided to focus her energy and creative skills purely on the design field.

Since 2005, she has been producing country-specific publications, promoting British business to Saudi Arabia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, India, Chile and Iraq, to name a few. As the Art Director of Allurentis, Laura works with clients to help them create a brand identity and ensure they have strong visual communications, which convey their company ethos and image. She created the Allurentis brand.


John Headley: Head of Sales

John has over 20 years’ experience in media sales and advertising across a wide range of public and private sector marketing campaigns. His clients have included multinational banks, law firms, accountants, energy suppliers, hotel groups, airlines and joint-venture companies. John’s background includes working with specialised publishers coordinating marketing campaigns for government departments internationally.
